Delivery Policy castonsfurniture.co.uk We pride ourselves on not only offering excellent British Made products at low prices along with sound advice but a premium free* delivery and installation service. Our free delivery and installation service covers a large part of the UK.

Unlike many of our competitors we use our own vehicles and highly experienced delivery teams to deliver and install the vast majority of orders.   

Some further afield areas from us we may have to use a specialist furniture delivery company from time to time. For some areas unfortunately there is a delivery surcharge, this is highlighted below.

These lead times are only approximate and cannot be guaranteed. Ensuring your furniture will fit through your front door and along any hallway and into your lounge/ bedroom is the sole responsibility of the customer. Please ensure you have checked this prior to ordering.

 

We cannot be held responsible if your furniture will not fit in. The guide below will help you.

 

When your order arrives into our distribution centre in Hythe, Kent we shall call you within 24 hours so you can settle any balance payment.

 

Your delivery day will be within five working days of us receiving your goods if you live in England or Wales. Scotland within ten working days.

 

If you are self-isolating or anyone in your household is experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms we shall need to wait until your isolation period is over before we can arrange delivery. The delivery time slot on the delivery day will generally be between 09:00 – 18:00

 

We can call on a mobile one hour before, so you do not need to stay at home all day. Our drivers will be equipped with masks, gloves and hand sanitiser. We ask that you remain in a separate room or in your garden when they are delivering/ installing your furniture. Please ensure the route from the front door to where the furniture is going is clear of any obstructions. Our delivery teams will bring your new furniture into your home, unwrap and fully install.

 

They will if required demonstrate how the product works. E.g. rise/ recline chairs.

 

Plus they will dispose of the packaging, which will be recycled. Currently we are unable to dispose of old furniture.

 

Our drivers will if requested move your old furniture into your garage or onto your drive.
